Hello everyone! I’m so glad that I finally have time during Rylee’s nap time and Leah’s down time so that I can share my favorite moments with you guys. It’s been awesome staying at home with the girlies every day and being able to get things done! I always thought I had somewhat of an ADD problem because I would start a job and never finish it, and I couldn’tĀ concentrateĀ ever! But now I realize I wasn’t giving myself enough time to get the job done. Anyways, over the past few weeks the girls have learned a lot and we have been learning a great deal of what the Chinese New Year is all about. We even spring cleaned a little bit! I know we’re not Chinese but Leah was very entranced with the Chinese culture and wanted to go to the Library and get every book imaginable to help better understand everything. Last night I slaved over the stove and made fried rice, dumplings, chow mein noodles (not broken!), and egg rolls. Sara was nice enough to join us for dinner and provide us with egg drop soup and more egg rolls. I must say that was the best Chinese dinner I have ever made! The girls loved having fortune cookies for dessert and the adults enjoyed ice cream.
On another note Rylee is going to be 2 on Sunday!! I can not believe it! She is growing up way too fast and I just can’t fathom the idea of her and Leah one day growing up, marrying men and raising their own children. Not happening. I guess they’ll have to deal with me for a while longer
Until next time my friends…
